Title: 2005 curious

Having read the handbook and Haynes and know it is pretty standard that if you remove radio/disconnect batt you will need to reset the code.  Today had to have radio out and batt disconnected for about 2 hours, put it all back in, turned ign on screen lit up said searching 20 seconds later all is in place, not a problem but curious.

Only caue it did not seem to do what i was expecting i.e ask for code, forgot you can diable codes, to long on Ford i think  ;D
