Would like to thank Jim, Kev, Rossphim ( big thanks there for a 5 hour trip to meet us Ross) and mjfyffe (jim) for a great afternoon
The first of many Jockular Omega meets - only requirement is you have an omega ( not that your a jock)
An alternative to Santa Pod for those of us that couldnt make it south ( Santa Pod looked brilliant guys well done!!!)
Both Santa pod and Jockular Omega meets obviously went very very well and shows the strength and humanity of the forum
Well done all!!!!!

actually, now you come to mention it - Kevs car can start it self without a driver in it - so maybe next year - taking it one step further, they may drive themselves there ;)

Hey 5 hours in the barge can't be that bad if I can still manage to walk (and type) on my return home.

It was worth it just to see Jim with your radio. I initially said a fortnight and he would have one, but i think he'll have one before then, if i know Jim. ::)

He's not that bad. He's probably sourced one already though. ;)
It's gonna cost him if he wants it fitted, how about a fire extinguisher. ;D

DAMMIT!! How did I manage to miss this?!!?!?!?
Probably my own fault, but I don't remember seeing anything about it on the forum.
Oh well, I spent the morning at Knockhill watching the BatOmegaBile being thrashed senseless round the track.
Mental note to self............PAY MORE ATTENTION!!!
-
Just a thought, the TVR probably tripped over my towbar, it sticks out far enough ;D
Cheers Jim

Excellent - can I bear that in mind if I ever get the chance to come over?? [smiley=thumbsup.gif]

How did it cope?
The car coped admirably however the front tyres didn't. The tread started coming off the nearside one. Having said that, they were part, (quite well!), worn when I got them and they've been to Italy and back and round the Nurburgring four times and about a dozen times round Knockhill, so there's no shame to them!!
The guys who own it now couldn't stop singing its praises. they love it. So one of them wants a 3.0 manual to track!!
While it didn't show them a clean pair of heels, it kept the pace with a couple of Nissan 200 turbos!! :y
Sad thing was that the marshals made them take the fins off the boot. (Little did they know that they were probably the most secure thing on the car!!! ;D )

That is a funny car, old nail with a replacement engine, yet goes and handles like nobodies business, and embarrasses turbos, that car is cool! :y
