Title: Well done Mark...
Post by: JamesV6CDX on 02 March 2008, 19:42:56
The problem with the handbrake light was indeed a dodgey wire going
into the sensor on the reservior.

I was wiggling the wire, and when I held it in certain positions, the light went out.

Bit of heatshrink and it'll be sorted :y

Good news then, nice and easy!

Many forget that the fluid level sensor also brings the handbrake light on and that the handbrake switch is uber reliable.

On some of the old works vans, I used to use the handbrake light as a 'low pad' warning :y
