Looks fairly complete except the fitting of pads, filing an angle if not already there, and a little copperslip.

Got to change a set of discs/pads myself later if my back and knee hold out, so will try to get it complete.

I agree it's not rocket science, just that it says WIP.. that's all....

Nice to get it complete, and some people may find doing the pads bit a bit confusing, esp getting pads around the right way.

TBH, though brakes are quite a basic item.. it's surprising how many mechanics get them wrong.  Don't suppose that every mechanic can possibly know everything about every car..  'tis a bit worrying with simple pads though..

Is there a right / wrong way? The pads I bought seemed to fit either side  ::)

Yes there is.....they have a directional arrow on them and the ones with the rubber backing should not go against the caliper piston.

If you get it wrong it has to be a lapse in concentration, as its common sense really.  Saying that, I've seen it done...

I am sure I'd have spotted if something was amiss... but I intend to have a quick look when I get her back.

The braking power is now immense, so I'm not overly worried...

The tractor is pretty impressive now.  I guess the pads are bedded in fully, as I just stood it on its nose coming home on the A43 when some idiot pulled in to outside lane without looking, causing me to have to knock around 60mph off quickly....
