My preference would be for the first set :)
-
both are nice wheels but i quite like the second set better. 8-)

agreed :y
-
If i had to make the choice it would be to wait for the first set TBH
-
I really think the second set look marvelous ;)
But, being a practical sort` I wonder about suspension travel and wheel-arch clearances etc. :-/
-
i also prefer the second set
-
honestly , design is a matter of taste..differs from person to person..
I dont see big difference except the size..
-
Yup second set for me ! ::) :y
-
Presumably it's just the photo which makes the 2nd set look bigger. I think the extra spoke in the first set is classier.
-
Think the first set mate. it will be worth the wait im sure
-
I think they both look OK. I would go for the ones where the spokes dont stick out further than the rims ::)
-
Personal preference is the second set as they're closer to the late MV6 wheels that I want on mine!
Anybody know if you can get replica Omega wheels anywhere, or for that matter if Vx still sell late MV6 wheels (if they have any stock left)?
-
personally i prefer the first set, but i also like the factory wheels, i think factory fit ally's are nice.
-
The second set really need a good low-sitting body kit to set them off. (I.e. get some Irmscher bumpers and skirts first!)
As it is, the first set look better.
Edit: It could be just a dodgy photoshop job on the picture though, the only reason I say the second set need a body kit is cos they so damn huge compared to the others.
-
The 2nd set, defo the 2nd set :y :y :y
-
I think the second set are best too! :y
-
Thanks for your replies the wheels are the same size its just that i done the second pic using paint as i dont have photoshop or any other pic editing program on my computer(and im cr*p at editing pics).
I only done the pics to give myself a rough idea of what they would look like
-
Yes :y
-
both sets look good, before I had the irmscher rims I had 5 spoke split rims, they do look good :y.........need to hone your reversing/parking skills so as not to scrub the rims on the kerbs, use your adjustable mirrors and take your time :y

I like them both, but I like the Facelift Elite standard 17" rims and don't see teh wheels as an area to upgrade 1st, but that's just my opinion.
Don't compromise on what you want for what is a very short wait of 2 months. If YOU PREFER the 1st set then wait. If you rush for the 2nd set just because the money is burning a hole in your pocket you WILL regret it in the long run.

Like both sets but second set slightly more 8-)

Thanks all for your replies and opinions but i think albatross hit the nail there. They are not something that i urgently need so i think i will hold out for the first set or wait untill a perfect set of elite 17s come up for grabs :y.

First set. They look easier to keep clean, no rivets to scrub around.
