Whew!  For a second I was worried that you had been scammed in the sale of your car.  :o  How do people manage to sell anything online?  I have never sold anything online, but I all hear about are scammers.

Theoldian, you really think i'd fall for a scam?! Never!! lol

I've bought and sold loads of stuff online, you've just got to be carefull. The thing that scares me is that some peolpe must fall for it or there wouldn't be a market for it  :o You would have to be a complete retard though....

Nothing wrong with being cynical, keeps you quite safe and imo it's just a way of looking at things in a 'realistic' light....So good on you RMB you cynical old bugger!  :y ;D

That's why I was shocked when I saw the subject line!

Seem to be a lot more over here than in the states, or maybe just exploded in the last couple of years.

Cos a lot of people in thie country are stupid and think the internet is this marvellous thing that has flowers everywhere and everything on i t is the truth.

I try to inform as many people as I can of the perils, but alas, there is only so much one man can do, and infinate stupidity!

Its like the classic nigerian 419 scams. Theyre so ludicrous that no sane person would fall for them.
But people do and  so they continue as does the sport of scambaiting.
http://www.419eater.com one of the many sites dedicated to making these lowlife waste their money and look stupid.
