I have to say that Rover realy were shiteee on the styling, its classic essex chav on the outside yet the inside still resembles a pub!

That spolier might prove useful though

Not my cup of tea by any means but, enjoy!

If the TV is operated by a simple swich attached to the handbrake, it wouldn't be much of a job to short/open circuit it. Then I could watch footballers wives whilst cruising :D

Well done you chaps  :y
I do like that MG. I looked at having one, but thought parts would be a pain in the beep to get, like the Rover i had before.
When i rang places they'd say "that's a dealer only part"  :(

They are getting hard to get now, body panels especialy.

Man father wont do accident repair work on them any more as a result becauee they tend to sit for weeks waiting for bits of trim and the like.

Needless to say, I DID NOT send £300 by paypal at the end of the auction. The car will be getting a thorough check. ;)

Aye - just worried that he may simply be refusing to sell - saving listing fees by not putting a reserve on and alarm bells rung when you said he hasnt contacted you....

As said, get down there with cash!

If it's a HUGE saving on this model, you could legally take him to small claims because it's a binding contract ;D

Just spoke to the guy. Even though he stated full service history in the ad, the belts had not been done. That's another £1000 on the price so no thanks.

Ouch - long overdue then as well.

For the benefit of the forum( i know STMO knows) its a quad belt and not a job for the DIYer..... £1000 is the average dealer price it has been known to be higher..
