Title: Healthy???
Post by: amigov6 on 07 March 2008, 19:45:38
A few weeks ago my belly button turned into an "outie" when it's always been an "innie". I was on the back of a container with a pump truck dragging pallets of wine over a ton each to the back. I'm not legally allowed ins. wise to do that. Can pop it in & out & it doesn't hurt.
Went to doctors & was told if i lost weight it will heal itself. Today, ( 1 month later) went for my 5yr. HGV medical. I've lost half a stone in a month & my blood pressure's dropped from borderline to normal. Eyes, pee test all good but it's encouraged me to lose more weight & i've got a new 5 yr. MOT!!!! ;D ;D ;D

There`s a bulge in your sidewall; I`m not sure that`s in a area that can be legally-repaired Sir!.....we could retube it for you though!  ;D ;D ;D

Get some mince pies down your neck.. I actually went into a shop in Bristol the other day and he was selling mince pies...and they were in date..i thought they were only a festive season product...but apparently not.

2 doctors prodded it now and it's an umbilical hernia...as in belly button. Glad it's not a Bollick one or a strangulated jobbie which can be dodgy to say the least. Luckily if i continue to lose weight it'll pop back in on it's own. I miss eating big meals late at night after a good drink, & burger bars when i'm down the road. I miss my sausage, egg & cheese. Only 1 sugar in tea now, no late dinners & if the munchies get the better of me i chop up a tomato & a pepper & pick at it. It's easier for me than some 'cos i'm naturally tall & thin so i can lose it easier than some. I also like fish, wholemeal bread & skimmed milk etc so it's not too much of a struggle, but i chew gum instead of dipping into my sarnies on the motorway to kill mouth hunger. But it's working. I can put washed jeans on  without a struggle now, not have to undo them after along drive & can see my neck again, i look & feel better so will stick at it. HGV clear for another 5 yrs & just sold two cars i had standing around so i'm £1400 better off. Sorry to ramble on but it's a good day for me.
      I'll shut up now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
