Hi,
Having just replaced the thermostat and cam cover gaskets on my 2001 3.0 V6 I am busy reassembling.
Is the vaccum hose that connects to the fuel pressure regulator a rubber u - shape connection which leads towards the front of the car?
Sadly, I just can't remember as I am having to do the job when time allows and memory fades!
Many thanks,
Andy :-\

The hose with the U shaped rubber section is the vacuum supply for the rear multiram actuator.
The fuel pressure regulator reference port connects to a rubber hose which extends backwards from the hose which feeds the idle air valve on the non-DBW V6s. :y

So this u-shaped rubber connects to the rear multi-ram on the plenulum and runs a vaccum pipe from it towards the front of the car?
If that is so - I can't locate anything that would attach to the fuel pressure regulator?
Does anyone have any photo's which may help?
Many thanks - it has got me thinking..

If you look at the idle control vale that fits into the right hand side of the plenum at the front you will see it connects to the inlet trumpet via a rubber pipe. T'd off this pipe is a smaller bore rubber pipe that runs to the rear of the engine, it is this pipe that attaches to the fuel pressure regulator.

FANTASTIC !!!!
I had pushed this hose down next to the radiator out of the way. My numbering system confirms you are spot on!
I feel like a fool but you guys have saved the day - even if it has cost me my pride! :D
Many thanks to all for helping :y
