just got back from a BBQ at a friends pub...    (OJ&L all night, but it's a bit far for a taxi....   over by Wycombe....  but great to see old friends, )

Last week in Tesco's they were selling their basic 2 burner gas bbq's original price £50......for £10  :y

its got to be a coal one,gas is for wimps and also i have a gas cooker in the kitchen.

I concur, proper charcoal :y

(although I do have a gas one as well for those "I need an emergency burger" occasions, due to the speed of getting it up to temp)

Using charcoal is good if you have planned the bbq......but when it's spur of the moment, you carnt beat a gas one. Its upto temp by the time the frozen meat has been in the microwave to defrost  :y

Same here, last winter scraped/melted snow off to do some steaks, but it must be gas  ;D

Ours has not been used this year either... :( Just do not seem to have had the weather when we have been at the caravan (Static)...... I plug it in the the caravan gas system so never need to worry about a bottle for it.... :y :y
