just been going through some old posted questions and answers but cant find one related to my problem...so please can you help with any information.....driving my 2.2    automatic  2000 omega today it felt a bit like a vibration coming up from underneath the car and if i placed my hand on the gear lever at speeds up to around 50 m.p.h. you could feel it coming up through the gear lever as well.....get her up to around 55mph and over it dissapears  from the gear lever i can feel it coming up from under the floor and also it feels as if it is under the drivers seat.....it feels like a vibration but at the same time feels very rough runninig..under the car...any ideas please where to start and what to check....thanks  ray..

First thing have the wheel balancing checked then go from there in my opinion mate :y

only  two weeks ago just fitted 18 wheels and tyres and all four were balanced...it has been ok up to today..there is no steering wobble at all.....do you think its still worth checking them again....thanks ray.

Personally I would yes... I once had a 2.8 Capri which I felt a vibration through the seat and there was a bulge on the inside edge... take it out of the equation, could be a weight has fallen off... ???

checked wheels today..balance is perfect so are the tyres..........noticed today that i can feel it as it is coming up through the floor while car is stationary and ticking over.....jacked it up to check the engie mountings and they appear to be ok....any suggestions as to what  else  it could be please  thanks..

ok thanks i will take a look.....
