These narrow country lanes are a bugger in the wet aren't they? ;D

I went down the beach with the dog to give the car the 'once over'. After half an hour he came back, he reckons your problem is water in the fuel!!!! ::) ;D ;D

Oop's.....was reading yesterday of the same thing happening to a landrover in Morecambe Bay, so stuck it will have to stay where it is till it finally sinks fully, wonder what his insurance company is saying..

Exactly......My sister in law had her 4x4 stolen from her drive the winter before last, she had openly admitted to leaving the car running to warm up while she went back into the house to get the kids ready.......(had she said almost anything else it would have been different).....they have finally had to bite the bullet and accept that the insurance is not going to pay out....to make it worse they have had 2 doors recovered by the Police and have displayed then on their unit wall..... ::) ::) ::)

It never ceases to amaze me how many people have the "I've got a 4WD so I can go anywhere mentality" several vehicals get stuck on my local beach every year some of them becoming a total loss.

I remember a few years ago a brand new Jeep Cherokee got bogged down near the low water mark someone had tried to recover it in vane and got there van stuck to. We considered sticking a marine salvage note on the Jeep and claiming it  :)
