;D ;D enter an address of your choice...........antisocial neighbours or their overgrown gardens causing a nuisance?

It was quite amusing actually, but very tedious on a slow connection ::)
-
agreed ld a good connection and speed is really needed :y

LOL.... it missed our house and blew up the neighbours... i'm so doing THAT again !
Essex Big Al, just spotted the signature.... the 61 may not, QUITE be cooler than a Miggy, although that's a tough call to make, but it sure as hell costs more to buy, and less to run !

Cooler than A miggy, or any other car you care to mention imo.Iirc Rory Gallaghers was a 61, as was Gary Moores red one. ;) 8)

Had a couple of old strats in years gone by , the '61 was the best . . wish i still had it .. probably worth upwards of 10 grand now i would think :o :o :o :o :o :o :o Could have a fleet of miggys for that today ;D ;D ;D ;D

I had an early 70,s sunburst which I bitterly regret selling. It played so much better than the 8 year old one I have now - which has came out of its case twice in the last 18 months, for about 10 minutes each time. ::)

all those guitar playing members might like to know i'm also a Luthier, and former Fender employee, and will happily perform miracles on set ups for members, as a favour. call it a grateful community service.
(but if you need serious refrets and such like... it may have to be negotiated... a couple of hours on a fret dress , electronics service/repair and set up, in my spare time, i'll happily do for free for any member.... but whole day(s) of work,.. well, definitely a heavily discounted rate... )

Good to know for when my Yamaha bass guitar needs a service, assuming you do those as well :y

Thats good to know Max. :y............If I ever get round to attempting to play again I might just call on your services.Im useless at the whole setting up thing. Its an art in itself imo.
Even further off topic - a mate of mine announced (in the early 70,s) that he was giving up his job to make guitars.Everyone though he had lost his marbles, but he kept at it and became reasonably succesful and has been doing it ever since.

Oh to own a genuine vintage Fender.. I have to make do with my Hohner copy (which needs the nut gluing back on, and the electrics servicing before it's playable again ;D)
-
On the right day I could be talked into selling my Fender, its not exactly vintage though. :)

Albs, nice... i've serviced and rebuilt several Lowdens over the years.... always beautifully crafted instruments.... occasionally has a few mad ideas, but always lovely things....
yes, Yamaha basses also welcome...
and "distressed Hohner owner from bracknell" should come for a cuppa and bring it with him.... probably wouldn't take long.... just bring yer own set of favourite strings..

Distressed of Bracknell, I like that ;) and I might have to do that some time - to be fair, I haven't picked it up in at least a year.. definitely a lapsed player!
