Title: ccrt display

hi all
at the moment i have 2x 2.5's  one is a mini facelift the other a facelift, the mfl has the ccrt 700 with phone  :y the f/l only has a ccr 2005  :(
my question is can i transplant the ccrt 700 into the f/l ? or even strip the relative bits off the mfl and use a ccr 2008 in the f/l ???  if i can use a ccr2008 what bits would i need to strip from the mfl ???  and also what about depairing etc

won't fit, you need to get 2006, or NCDC2013/2015

Or a CCRT2008 + screen + wiring mods (no satnav though)

thats the route i want to take rob  :y  but could i use the display out of my mfl? also i will need mic/light, aerial out of mfl ? and will need to know what wiring mods and can i rip these out of mfl ??      oh and tunnie why wouldnt the 700 fit with an adaptor plate and also the mic display etc ?

Yes, can use a ccrt2008 with that ccrt display.  Would need some wiring mods though.  ccrt2008 is every bit as shite as ccrt700 though, and only has 4 disc changer...

not really bothered about cd's TB  ;) and my ccrt 700 has been fine for my moderate usage  :y but use the phone quite abit and dont want to go down the handsfree kits/bluetooth etc, what i would like is a comprehensive list of what i will need out of the mfl to make a ccrt2008 work in the f/l which only has the ccr 2005 in at the moment, and a how to would be a bonus  :y

I put a ccrt700 in my mv6, replacing the ccr600 - similar to what you are trying.

Furnish yourself with wiring diagrams, its fairly self explainatory :y



Needless to say I soon ripped it all out though  :-X
