Hi, everyone
I have a 3.2 Elite Estate which has a coolant leak coming from the back of the engine.
I have been looking around in vain for an Omega specialist in South West London to deal with this problem. Can anyone recommend a London-based specialist please?

Jcn 10 of m4 any good? Or I sometimes visit Epsom. Where are you, more specifically?

Search hbv on here also.

Sounds like HBV is a likely candidate. Are you completely unable to do the work yourself? Not too hard (if it is confirmed as HBV :y) if you follow the guides

Thanks for your replies. I am based in Streatham and unable to do the job myself.

I'm J4 M3 if that helps :y

Guffer - Thanks, but I am losing a whole reservoir of coolant per mile. I don't think I'd make it to J4 M3.
Chrisgixer - Thanks, I am about 15 miles from Epsom in the direction of Central London, (A3).

If it is the heater bypass valve any garage should be able to change it in half an hour.Just make sure they use a genuine valve (approx£40) or you will probably have the same problem in the future. ;)

My HBV was changed last year by a garage (before I purchased the car)........They charged for 2 hours labour... :o :o :o :o
Taking the piss I think... :-\ :-\ :-\

How urgent ? If you need the car print the guide off and get a local mech to do it. But it needs diagnosing correctly first. If anybody even mentions head gaskit, slap em, hard.
Try turning ac on or off, sometimes it redirects the flow of water and stops leaking. Others it just pisses out no matter what.
See maintenance for hbv, see if you can see the part in the engine bay.
Usually I just buy one and bring it along, keep for spares if it's not required, they often fail.
