Title: crayfish
Post by: General Melchett on 08 October 2011, 12:55:15
I have a license to trap the invasive crayfish in my local canal and it runs out the end of the month.  I will be fishing a lot for them over the next few weeks and if you are dubious about how good they are I have a whole drawer in the freezer with nothing but crays.

If anyone wishes some fresh crays in the Aldershot area drop me or my lacky, Guffer, a PM :y

If I had even a remote idea how to cook (anything, let alone crayfish)...  ;D I do love me a bit of crustacean.

If you had made that remark in London in the sixties you would have had one hell of a reputation  :o

I've considered doing it here, Grand Union canal goes right past my office. Keep meaning to get some traps off eBay and have a go!

You'll have to wait until next season.  They are pretty dormant during winter and I think Tue EA won't give you a permit until spring now
