If I place back camshafts clean and DRY , the mating surface of the CAMSHAFT COVER and the CYLINDER HEAD will remain DRY ,and can be sealed perfectly, using some sealant.
If I LUBRICATE camshafts with oil, everything will be oily, and camshaft cover will NOT seal.
Can a DRY camshaft cause overheating etc ?
Or will it be lubricated as I fill in the fresh oil at the end ?

You should lubricate all bearings, and anything else that moves, as you rebuild the cylinder heads. When you fit the cam covers (using OE gaskets etc ;)) you clean & dry all mating surfaces to ensure a leak free job. :y :y

What about VASELINE ?
Is it a good idea to use it on the camshafts ?
I mean a SMALL AMOUNT of vaseline does not spread itself everywhere.

Why vaseline? That's for use on babies bums ;) Just use normal engine oil, any excess will find its way to the sump.
Don't forget that the cams would be covered in oil if you'd removed the covers to replace gaskets. Just wipe the mating surfaces with a lint free rag - an old T shirt is pretty good - and follow the cam cover gasket guide in the maint section. ;)
