It is usually me that gets into trouble for falling for the ‘look’ giving in and buying yet another cuddly toy for my daughter.
Swmbo took her to Tesco to do the shopping and came back with a huge cuddly duck, apparently daughter had reasoned that she would rather have the duck than Easter eggs, and Mum gave in.
Daughter confided later that she knows she will get eggs from neighbour and relatives, she is only 7 and got both of us sussed.
:) :) :) :) :) :)She is sat beside me and she should be in bed. :D

Got oubid, it was just a daft bid. Just checked, brand new, in a crate, 70cc kids quad and it sold (so it say's) for £127.00. :o :o
Guess we will see that build up and up for sale, at that price I should have bought it. My maimum bid was £100.00
Not sure I really wanted it but at that price :)

I've got a 22 year old son who's FULL of attitide, won't talk to me or his Mum 'cos he accused us of having him on a whim. He knows that's not true but it's a bit of a rough trot to hear. Thank god i don't have a 7 yr old daughter 'cos she'd be "Daddys little angel" & would have me further round her little finger than her Mum ever could. She'd be a proper little madam & i'd be a right soft touch! ::)

She can wrap me around her little finger and always has done but she is not a 'proper little madam' she knows right from wrong and her please and thank you’s, mostly! It’s about trying to get the balance right.
I have a 17 yr old step son, full of attitude, not the normal, well OTT nearly bust up our relationship on more than one occasion and there is no apparent reason for it. I still have to bite my tongue, kicked out of school, no quals, recently he lost his job, and seems not to be looking to hard. I am waiting to see what happens when his money runs out. This does not fit with the ethos of this household, his elder brother was brought up the same and always worked and now has a good career. I feel a rant coming, far too much to say on here. >:(
Rising 16 yr old step son fabulous kid, we have some moments but that is normal, he is getting me on side to get a bike / scooter when he is 16. I am all for it, we have to work on swmbo. :D :D :D
