Title: Well I really did take the p155
Post by: Del Boy on 18 October 2011, 21:49:29
Well I've just got an 04 plate 2.0 Peugeot 307 CC for £500! Fully running, taxed mot'd, built in Sat-Nav, full black leather, CD Changer and surprisingly for a Peugeot everything actually works  :o It's the bargain of the year for me :D

HPI Clear, only problem with it is a scuff on the rear arch and I thought an exhaust, but I got underneath earlier tightened a bolt up and the blow went :) Basically a woman my sons know, had the car for 3 years, left her old man recently, decided to sell this, I went there originally offered her £1500, then thought I can get more off, went away offered her £950, then last night messages her again saying the exhaust is going to cost about a grand, it just needs too much work, it's worth probably £500 scrap value. She said ok give me £500, then I had it within the next half an hour :) Recent clutch too :)

She got a fair deal, I'm sorting the wheel arch and the electric window switch is a bit mank so I'll sort that for her, they've would've been done this evening anyway, but as she's had it, it's getting done within the next couple of weeks. Got a few more cars I need to send to my body shop man first, oh and I put two near rear tyres on today, so £3000 is a bargain  :y Take out the £150 for the arch and window switch, I've made a healthy profit, she's very happy, she's got a nice spec car  :y

That's it mate, I'm happy as I've made a large profit, although I could've made more, she's happy shes got a nice highly specced car that won't give her any problems, and the minor things that are wrong with it, I'll sort for her anyway  :y

I do hope you haven't cursed your self, it is a Peugeot afterall!!

I prefer not to sell cars to family/friends, I would worry if any problems were to develop...
