Post by: moggy on 23 October 2011, 15:39:02
Hi guys and girls, got a bit of a problem and hope someone can help.Yesterday my friend told me my front right parking light was out.So i changed the bulb and changed fuses 23&30 as a mater of cause. But this has not cured it,it seems the left parking light and tail lamp is ok.But only the right tail lamp is working but not the front parking lamp.Could any one point me in the right direction, all help gratefully received.Dean :y

Not got wiring diagram in front of me, but dont think they are relayed.  Given you've check fuses/bulbs, I'd move on to switch and loom  :'(

Thanks TB i take it switch wont be a problem but loom, not good i assume.BTW don't know if this may be related, last week a young girl ran in to the back of me in her car. There was no damage to my car, except she pushed my toe bar electrics socket backward.I pulled it forward again and checked the wiring was still attached, also would fuse 29(Terminal 30)Have anything to do with fuse 30&23 due to the tow bar socket being bashed.Just wondering,Dean :y

OK, I think you need to check, at the lamp, that you get 12v, and that the ground connection is sound.

All the grounds for that area are under the battery tray, over on other side.

From memory, a load all go on to 1 stud.

Once you've had a meter on it, everything will hopefully become clear :y
