I'm still pondering what to do, one option is to put SL rear shocks on my 3.2 & then I'll have standard Elite setup all around.
My millage is very low at the moment, so considering second hand.
Any of you breakers got a pair in decent condition?

I dont have any,RobG sold his (only pair afaik) to Bigyin recently,Pretty sure Twiglets elite breaker has had S/L removed (I had a look under it last week.It definetly had newish aftermarket shocks, but I dont believe they were S/L. might be worth checking with him though.
Other than that,the usual suspects or Omegaspares I suppose. :-\

Never really seen used SL shocks in good nick, due to the air bladder, you get masses of corrosion under it, and the result soon becomes... ...well, you've seen it. <60k miles as well.

Are elite fronts different to std? Dunno tbh.
You have std rear shocks and std KYB (shagged, mind, but in one piece) at rear.
Therefore, std suspension.
Whilst those springs may get through MOT, accept they are knackered. But will get you through decision time ;)
The SL springs have a cost attached, so probably not the road for you to go down ;)

Seemingly not the springs. Cant see anything obvious on shocks, but get me the ident code off one side :y

If your going to change the suspension you might as well go for B4 shocks and a decent spec of springs.Then some time later when time/funds etc allow,uprate the front to match imo. ;)
Unless you particu;arily want Elite setup for towing or similar ?

TB - Will do, I thought Elite fronts were different. But if they are standard & I already have standard rear shocks, a pair of new springs say Boge will be cheap enough & I'm then got a base to go from.
Considering cost of MV6 setup, B4's is possible. But then again after 7 years I've found standard suspension ok.

Cheap option, std rear springs. When any of shocks get tired, B4 the lot.

I put B4,s on the rear of mine recently.Made a very noticeable difference over standard. :y
Front seems far too soft now though,so will have to have a think about that in the not too distant.

Decided to stick with standard setup all around for now then go from there. So no longer needed :y

Not bad! Only thing just realised is I bought a pair of non-SL springs which are in the garage. D'oh!
