As I will shortly(hopefully) be buying a Spanish 4x4 our fully legal English registered car is proudly up for sale.
Here are the details.
It is a late 1997 pre mini facelift 3.0 litre auto Elite saloon finished in silver. English MOT till 4th January 2012. Tax till end of Feb 2012. The vehicle has done 144k miles and had a professional recon AR35 fitted in 2003 for over a 1000 pounds. Regular oil and filter changes.
Good points.
Reliable
Engine and gearbox work perfectly
Car drives well. Had geometry done in England and it shows.
Brakes are fine
Fitted Witter towbar has twin electrics.
CL and all windows work. One key
Black leather.
Working rear blind
Two very good rear tyres and 4 clean Elite 5 spoke rims
Two very good spare wheels
Headlight washers. None xenon lights, Fogs
Working dipping mirror and electric mirrors
Heated rear screen works
Irmscher boot lid spoiler with brake light
Irmscher Chrome boot badge ( tyhat should have Jim interested!)
Bad points
Radio doesn't work
Bodywork is rough in all the usual places
Front door stays broken
Exhaust noisy ( it hasn't been fixed since the centre pipe advisory on the MOT)
Rear s/l shockers are poor but I have some rear Bilstein B4's available by negotiation
Battery a bit iffy
Air con doesn't work. I had it recharged but after a week or so it stopped working.
Heated seats don't work.
Two front tyres are at point where ought to be replaced soon.
Make a good tow car, vehicle to get back to Britain, donor for engine and gearbox etc. Apart from the exhaust, I don't think it needs anything else for an MOT. I originally bought it as a donor for engine and gearbox for my much loved other car since scrapped but decided where we live we need a 4x4 unfortunately..
I also have a garage full of spare parts accumulated over the last 11 years and the lucky buyer will be able to negotiate a good deal and I mean a good deal on all of these too. List is too long for here but includes all the popular items taken off my beloved but now scrapped Elite.
Vehicle located in the dead centre of Province of Andalucia. Buyer(s) flying in could be met at Malaga airport for example.

Payment taken in Sterling, Euros or gold bars.

Car located Central Andalucia, Spain.
Can deliver reasonable distance or meet purchaser at airport.
Only change since advert posted is the temperature guage has stopped working because I knocked the wire off the top of the sender at the back of the engine. It has done over a thousand miles since I did that. Current reading is 145673 miles.
Have loads of other parts I took off the Red Omega Elite that can be included in the sale for a very, very small premium making this the bargain of the year.
