Title: What is the type of this Bulb ?
Post by: SuperBee on 25 October 2011, 23:01:14
Hi guys,

I'm changing my interior lights (dome, trunk & glove box etc...) with LEDs. Currently I changed puddle lights with canbus festoon LEDs. And I ordered new LED bulbs for trunk, glove box and licence plate.

But when I removed sun visors' mirror lights I noticed that these bulbs are thinner then normal festoons. (has same length with puddle lights. 39mm) these are approximately 0.5 cantimeter wide. Is there any LED festoons for theese thinner bulbs ?

any my other question, are dome lights in w5w type ?

My Omega is B, pre-facelift '99. 2.5 CD

Thanks for your help.

Festoon lamps come in 3 different lengths as standard, check out >UltraLED's< (http://www.ultraleds.co.uk/automotive-bulbs-c-101.html?osCsid=j681m0glo7pvaocr0mnkvlosb4) for replacements.

Handy to know. :y

Not for the car, but I've got a few bits of kit that use festoon lights for backlighting and they are a real pain to change when they fail. ::)
