I've had the headunit, cage, walnut surround, climate panel, and the black plastic frame that everything screws fixes to, out of my mate's car today. I'm 100% sure everything is reconnected properly. Everything works except when you turn up the temperature on the climate panel, no heat comes out!! >:(
I'm worried that I may have disturbed something else behind the headunit (possibly one of the actuators???), but looking at another car I have here, I can't see anything obvious. :-\
Unfortunately, my mate lives 200 miles away from me (he's now very cold, having just got home) and I am probably going to have to talk him through sorting this out.
Can anyone point me in the right direction as to how the heat supply is controlled, and where the controlling parts are located please.
TIA :y

Sounds like one of the multi-plugs at rear of CC panel is not seated correctly

That was my first thoughts as well Rob.
I've been doing a bit of reading up using the search function. I did also have the glovebox out in order to run some wiring.
What about if I have disturbed one of the vac valves under there? Would that cause the problem of no heat?

Could have inadvertently disturbed the black pipe on one of the vac valves. Black controls HBV operation, blue/black, re-circ flap

So would no vac = no heat? I've read a couple of posts that seems to suggest the opposite :-\

Tbh James,it sounds like its going to be a matter of taking everything back out and inspecting connectors, pipes etc. :(

I fear you are right mate. I would be nice to know exactly how the system works to produce heat in the cabin though, even if just to clear things in my head. :y
