Title: Alarm and doors not locking

Alright guys.
Has this ever happened to anyone.?  My car is locking with the key fob but seconds later the alarm goes off. Then sometimes it doesnt go off but then when i unlock it the drivers door won't work and i have to open my door from the inside via the passenger side or from the back seat. As you can imagine, this is not cool.
  Does anyone know what the problem would be and would it take much to fix..?

I think you have 2 separate problems.

1st Alarm, it could be the alarm going off, or it could just be the powersounder...If the powersounder, remove it (see maint guides) they can and do set cars on fire!  not pleasant.  If not that, your 1st port of call is the bonnet sensor, small plunger switch, just unplug it to prove, if that stops the problem, then bend it upwards to make better contact.

2nd, Door lock, sounds like a lazy solenoid, they can be refurbed iirc, or you can place a wanted advert in the test zone for one off a breaker.  door card off, bit of fiddling and swap them over.  Job done.
