Title: no radio and no diplay on 2001 omega estate

Hi iam new to all this, I was changing the dashboard bulbs and when i put every thing back together i dont have a display screen or sound from cd/radio, radio still lights up. :-[

What radio?

Also, check the fuses (cant remember which does display, sure someone will be along shortly)

I had that when I took my dash apart recently.  The radio was only partially plugged back in.  I took out the radio and the cradle, made sure the radio was plugged into the cradle first and then put the cradle/radio back in place.  The radio was getting power, which was why it lit up, but because the display part wasn't plugged in I couldn't see it was in safe mode, which is why it didn't make a sound.

when you say dashboard bulbs which ones ?
the ones for the speedo etc or the climate control ?

It was the speedo and the fuel gauge bulbs i changed

when the dash was put back in, did you put every plug back on, make sure you did not bend a pin in plug. would start from begining.

dash might just want a firm push in to position
