Title: Hopelessly optimistic eBay ads?
Post by: aaronjb on 02 November 2011, 09:41:50
Is it just me, or are the prices of hopelessly optimistically described cars starting to rise on eBay?

I have a search running for manual diesel Omegas (just in case a really nice Elite spec one pops up) and some of the stuff you see is astounding.. but todays rather amused me:

So .. that's why the NSF wing, bumper and bonnet are all a different colour to the rest of the car, then? ;D (Champagne, I think, while the rest of the car is grey or silver) - if that doesn't yell "front end smash," I don't know what does!

There's no mention of it having a new bonnet and wing either ::)

Exactly, other than the brief "not immaculate" in the description.. I guess that covers it.. ;D

For a "business" advert the spelling is atrocious ... one to be very wary of IMHO .. :)
