Title: Biker plonker
Post by: Nickbat on 03 November 2011, 22:10:49
Plonker for doing 150mph and putting himself and others in mortal danger. Plonker for putting a video of it on YouTube.

I bet he thought he was being well cool when he did both.

Halfwit.  ::) ::) ::) ::)

Dunno when he was doing 150 Nick but it wasnt during that video. ;)
I must admit I have no sympathy for these dicks who film themselves doing highly illegal things, upload it to youtube and are then surprised when they have their collars felt. Served them right for being so thick, if nothing else. ::)

We all like speed, but that was just downright bloody stupid and dangerous!  >:(

For me & the bike, I just like riding it, the 6pot new BMW cruiser bike I borrowed was capable of such speeds, but I was just as happy winding way down country lanes at sensible speeds

Ditto tunnie. I'm not a very "experienced" biker, so I was never capable of doing wheelies etc. I did like going quick, but I found the acceleration the best bit  :o
Feeling the bike trying to pull your arms out of your socket, awesome :)

In the U.S doctors regard bikers as "organ donors,"perhaps when numpties like that are out there doing stupid stuff  they might take a moment to think about the people that will benefit from that moment when it all goes tits up! thats providing theres enough left to find.I spent 20years in the ambulance service and in all honesty it does'nt take a high speed crunch on a bike to change your life, even at slow speeds it's so easy to break bones,I gave up two wheels a fair time ago after a couple of spills and it may not be as exciting in a 3.2 but what the hell the car can take the beating in a crunch not my 63year old body ;D :y

Certainly not the brightest bulb in the box, and patently obvious he wasn't in control when pulling the so called stunts.

There seems to be some sort of plonker contest. Who's the winner in the video then?

I must admit being a biker for most of my life i do like speed but theres a time and place for it and place for it empty roads with good conditions, I have no idea why they think of using a video to record their law breaking and then post it on youtube.

I personally think bikes are dangerous full stop. If one day I accidentally make a serious driving error I want their to be a crumple zone and airbag between me and the tree I smack.

Cars, bikes, guns, knives, etc only become dangerous when we introduce the human element to the equation.

A TV remote can be dangerous, if used in wrong way.

So you make a serious driving error and smash into a playground full of childern, what's more dangerous, a motorbike or a two ton car?

The only dangerous element is the idiot behind the wheel/handlebars.

No, i'm talking from a self preservation point of view. obviously anyone can come up with any random scenario but as said before i want airbag and crumple zone when i crash. simplez

Just like anything really. Each individual chooses their own balance between risk/ fun. :)........different for everyone, but not endangering innocents should always be top of priority list imo. ;)
