Title: starting problems

over the last few days my 2.5 petrol has wont start, had new battery in june seem to be charging so putting it down to the starter motor, any other idears  :'(

is it cranking (turning over) but not firing???
if it is do the paper clip test and dont be surprised if 19 comes up-cranksensor, sometimes the code wont show but as said if it is cranking but not firing i would put my money on cranksensor  :y

not it wont turn over as if flat battery, just took it off the car to charge it as my alarm keeps going off, may be a duff battery?
