LPG car registered with DVLA as "dual fuel" saves a massive .....  wait for it ....... take a deep breath ....

£10 a year !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Don't spend it all at once .. :)

http://www.direct.gov.uk/en/Motoring/OwningAVehicle/HowToTaxYourVehicle/DG_10012524

Table about 1/3 rd the way down "Alternative fuel car (TC59)"

F/L will be band K unless pre 2001.. as over the limit but under the 2006 rule  ;)

HTH  :)

If it's post March 2001 (which I don't think it will be) and on the emissions based tax brackets then you get a £10/year discount if you jump through the hoops with the DVLA and get it registered as an "Alternative Fuel Car" ::)

Pre-March and you get nowt ::)

Except they (currently ::)) haven't applied the £400 band retrospectively to 2001, only post 2006 :y

Fairly sure father T's 2.2 is the same.....

3.2 is worth it for the extra go though  :)

Very unlikely a 3.0l will be eligible for any discount.
