many ta's to the boy for taking the time and trouble to dig out an auxillary heater pump  for me so i can continue my ongoing mission to pre-heat my motors :y

What are you using for the actual source of the heat, Mr Sassanach, a glow plug?

I have to be honest, I have very strongly considered doing the same thing...  ::)

of course 50p of electric can save you £1.50 worth of petrol but more importantly, instant switchover to gas, already de-misted and the heater works right from the off.... result

I had one of these in my MV6 some years back.

Great bit of kit, they seem popular on the ABS web site, but haven't heard of an OOF with one. Well, actually I have one, but haven't got round to fitting it as yet  :-[
