It is a bit of a bugger that we have to tell MP's what concerns people.They are so far up their own arses , that they have no idea how people think, just self serving prats most of 'em >:(.

I had a letter back from my MP in October agreeing with my view that we should have a referendum on the EU. I contacted her again before the recent vote to remind her of this, and to hope that her integrity would not have been compromised by her recent appontment as a PPS. Guess which way she voted? (No prizes).
I have since had a two page letter from her in which she tries to convince herself me that there were good reasons for her volte face.
They all make me sick. >:( >:( >:(

The only party with a commitment to leaving the EU is UKIP all of the other parties are Europhiles with the Conservative party having a minority wing of Euroseptics.
From when Heath took us into the EU on the pretense on being part of a trading block with no loss of sovereignty, to today, where we are fed the lies that if the UK left the EU, we would all starve and die of the plague. I personally don't want to be part of an uncompetitive EUSSR build on the French Socialist model. >:( >:( >:(
If we left the EU it is actually EU law that any member leaving has to be offered a free trade treaty, so we could be an EFA member like Switzerland and Noway, two of the richest countries in Europe without being in the EU. Independent Economists who have looked at this think financially and long term economically we would be better off out of the EU and to concentrate on trading with the US and BRIC countries. Global trading is something we have always been good at. :y
The only party offering an alternative is UKIP but unfortunately they will struggle to get any MPs at the next election, but will probably do better in MEP elections. So you have a choice of two Europhile socialist parties with one being slightly more right-wing than the other and of course the Eurofanatics the monster raving Liberal unDemocratic party, but they will probably lose all of their MPs at the next election.
I see democracy has effectively been suspended in Greece where an EU puppet has been appointed as prime minister and the same is about to happen in Italy as the next Prime Minister there will be an un-elected ex-EU Commissioner, not that it will make a great deal of difference as most other EU governments (apart from France and Germany) are just regional councils there under the pretense of democracy to rubber stamp the EU diktats. >:( >:( >:(
Berlusconi days have been numbered ever since he was walking behind Merkel at an EU summit and she overheard him saying about her "that he wouldn't want to penetrate a fat ass like that". Cruel but true. ;D ;D ;D
