Title: trolley jacks - update
Post by: raywilb on 12 November 2011, 08:08:23
i decided to buy a new trolley jack from B&Q its a 3t. £69.98p. its a right piece of kit & makes the clarkes 3t look like a dinky toy. plus its a low entry so getting it under is no problem. the down side is the weight at 36.5kgs not an object for the boot. B&Q,s web page does not give any info except to say its a 3t, but i,m very pleased with it. :y goes beyond D.I.Y.   :y

Having worked selling tools and garage equipment for 22years until i retired...i never sold trolley jacks to the garages unless i could guarantee that i could supply a replacement repair kit as a lot of the cheaper jacks you cant repair them yourself and if they can be repaired  by outside repair agents    the cost of this out weighs the price of the jack..well known makes even jack sealey  (  cheap  )    guarantee spares for at least 10 years...just something to consider when buying hydraulic items   :y
