Title: Family troubles/feelings.
Post by: Amigo on 12 November 2011, 18:16:40
The last weekend visit to see Dad in Sussex was about 3 weeks ago. My younger sister & her daughters, 2 & 5 years old were there & my son who is 26 now. Late on Sunday evening son & i got into some silly debate about the hottest chilli sauce. Thankfully my two nieces were fast asleep & Dad & sister were in the kitchen. It did'nt get to shouting point but he wound my up that much that said i'd had enough & was off to bed. When i ignored him asking me not to he offered me outside!!!! This is in a private lane & we've just lost my Mum/his Grandma. I asked him did he really want to do that here to which he said no but would meet me anywhere etc. Anyway the upshot was i quietly said i wanted nothing more to do with him & went to bed. I deleted a text he sent without reading it & left the next morning before he surfaced. I ignored a few nice messages he sent me on facebook until he tried again with this one,
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DF0zefuJ4Ys. Still shedding tears over Mum but i shed a couple more & told him he had'nt lost a friend or his Dad.

Why is life so difficult at times?

Well, my father /62 years old/ and me /40/ often fell in silly and meaningless argue  :-\ when I was as young as your son but either of us gave up a wee bit of proud and everything was ok ... for a time. Nowadays my Mom already isn't alive  :'( , sad, but the relationship between my father and me much more better than it was earlier. We are commonly working on it to be. Why have somebody to die to get better other's relation...??? Nobody knows I guess. That's the life.  :y

Life's too short Guy ;) But I'm sure you don't need me to point out that he sounds like a "chip off the old block" from what I know of you and your youth ::)

Kiss and make up ;)
