This isn't a "my knob is bigger than yours" exercise. Thus you can vote just once.
This is the console you personally use most in your house, and assuming you use it at least once every 8 weeks (I know many are too busy to play games). And as an average over the last year (ie, not that you just got Forza 4, and thats all you've played recently).
If you are a too infrequent gamer (ie, not played in last 2 months, please vote that way :y)

Xbox - COD Black Ops / Battlefield 3 / Grand Theft Auto :)
-
x box 360
-
3x 360's and a Wii that does a bit more than Nintendo intended in the house, but I haven't had the inclination to play either for a while now because every movement I make still hurts (hence have voted as such).
The 360 however is getting plenty of use since the old lady bought a Kinect and a few of those keep fit type games to go with it.

I use my Xbox 360 most nights on Modern Warefare.
Mrs & Girls Playstation 2 on Guitar Hero :D

When are we going to have another game of Mario?

Nope, can't vote. Equal measure of xbox(games) and ps3(blu ray films)
Can't say I use one more than the other.

Thats why I said gaming. My seXBOXes are used very regularly, but not often for games.
This was purely from a gaming viewpoint, not gayray or MCE extenders :y

Oi, i'm busy doing other things you know. Have I really got to give all my attention to one gay and obviously loaded question.
-
I've never had a games console.... but a friend who I shared a house with a few years back went out and bought a X box...... ::)
One rainy Saturday, with not much on I thought I'd have a quick go on some shoot 'em up war game, while having breakfast..... I was still glued to the bloody thing at midnight..... Didn't go out all day, didn't eat, just coffee and pee breaks!!! :(
I never touched it again... :y :y :y

So, in order, amongst those playing games:
seXbox 360
Wii
gayStation 3
Not actually that surprised TBH.
For serious gamers, the whole Xbox + Live thing is hard to beat.
For 'fun' gamers, the Wii and/or Xbox+Kinect works well.
gayStation 3 hasn't quite captured the gaming market like Fony had hoped, and Move has been a disaster. gayStation 3 has found its niche in the gayray player market, as many gayray manufacturers pulled out when Fony kept changing the specs on a whim.
I get a fair few IT channel publications posted, and they are all suggesting channels fill up with seXbox stuff, esp Kinect and Kinect Titles, as that is expected to do well this Xmas. Consoles are expected to sell, despite its age. And despite all those hacked console owners that MS have pissed off ;D
Wii sales have fallen on their arse. Nintendo need to get a new one out quick (due next summer).
gayStation consoles are selling well, but titles aren't doing so well. Guess many are using purely for gayray.

Serious gamers ? Words fail me. ;D ;D
-
I voted that I haven't turned one on in 2 months - although I have, but only recently (when Forza 4 & GT 5 turned up).. but I have;
PS3, XBox360, Wii, GameCube, DreamCast, PS2 and PSX.. ok, I'll admit, the last four are upstairs on a shelf..
-
Actually world sales figures of RRODBox and PS3 are very similar. And PS3 was realised nearly a year after RRODBox.
As to BluRay - it is rather good, so much better than DVD and I have a good DVD player.
BTW I have found that there are only 3 games exclusive to RRODBox that are not anywhere else that I would want to play, and the rest of that series is on PC anyway.

Sad or otherwise, some people spend a lot of time getting into their games ;)

I'm not old enough to own a SNES.. :P ;D
I jest - I am, of course - but back when the SNES/MegaDrive/GameGear etc were all the rage I was one of those people who looked down on consoles and owned a 'proper computer'. ISTR a ZX Spectrum at the time ;D (followed later by an Amiga 500)..
It all went downhill rapidly after I bought my PSX (shortly after release - I remember paying the best part of £450 for the console, 2nd controller and some games)

I don't know why, but that game really grates on me.
First time I saw it was when I discovered it was one of the pre-installed apps on my phone, it didn't last long before it was uninstalled along with all the other bloatware that O2 decided their customers want (why they do it I don't know).
-
My son is all over the X box ::) ::). We have a wii but that has not been used in about a year.

Sue bought the two cartridge consoles before we got married, I was playing a few VIC 20 games - some of them were rather good!

Wii - last used I think when Alex played Super Mario Galaxy 2 earlier in the year.

Last time I actually enjoyed a computer game it was certainly an 8 bit machine. Spectrum or BBC Micro, I reckon. ;D

Seem to recall playing Elite on the BBC B's at school.... Then playing it on the Spectrum 48K at home.... Strangely all the 128K Version added was better music IIRC!
I remember Psion producing Chess on the 1K ZX81!
-
Got a wii that i've played an off roading driving thingy for a few laps months ago but others & thier kids play it. Also got a small silver PS2 with a stack of games that i've still to plug in!!!
Might do it over chrimbo...it's got 3 Need for speed games with it that might be worth a drunken thrash! 8)

.. and it didn't have that flickery display mode switching at the top of the instrument panel to save memory.
Funnily enough, I powered up my old BBC tonight as I needed something that would generate a video signal to test an old monitor. ;D
