We won't all be at Dads in Sussex as this will be our first chrimbo without Mum. The family will be landing at my elder sisters between Worcester & Stratford but she loves cramming everyone in & a busy house. Much as i love them all i've declined as it would be just too busy for me. I'm lucky to be blessed with such a lovely family, they understand & i'm happily spending the festive period at home with friends here. I'm a bit of a homebird & not a huge fan of the traditional turkey dinner so it's al;l good.
The point is what are you having to eat?
I'm ordering a grouse, a pork loin, a rabbit & a haggis. I'm happy & competent in the kitchen & can cook all of the above with basic store cupboard ingredients but any suggestions are welcome & what are you having? Guy. :y

Lots of meat. Mainly poultry and pig. Its the law.
And roast tatties. Lots of roast tatties. Stuffing, brussels and other things to make me offensive during Maj's speech. Yorkie puds.

We had a goose a couple of years back. That was good. Much more flavour than turkey. The most recent couple of years I've talked my Mum into doing a beef wellington. That does down quite nicely with a few roast tatties and some sprouts, or course. :-*
We're cooking for mrs. KW's family this year. :o
