Title: And another thing - Powersounder.
Post by: LC0112G on 20 November 2011, 22:36:37
I've read the stuff on here about removing the powersounder. I may do that, but I've a question. On the plastic radiator cover there's a pictogram which I take to mean don't disconnect the battery else the powersounder will go off. Fair enough. Then under this is another pictogram which I think means read the manual - then disconnect the battery - and then the powersounder won't go off.

So my question is - is the powersounder telepathetic, and it knows when you've read the manual ;D Or alternatively, What does the manual tell you about removing the battery? I'm stuffed if I can find anything in my copy.

Cheers,
Malcolm

it says in manual to switch ignition on and then off you have then so many seconds (cant remember how many) to disconnect battery and power sounder wont go off  :y

but like the telepathic theory better  ;D

15 ... :)

Easily done ... loosen the bolt on the negative terminal. Walk to drivers door, switch ignition ON then OFF, walk back to battery, lift terminal upwards.

Seemples :)

You mean you haven't Please read the manual  :o :o :o  ;D ;D

As the fiendish one says, you've got 15 secs to disconnect the battery after turning the ignition of to keep the alarm (& neighbours) happy.
