you may now i have a new car 3.2 mv6 52
was looking through paperwork to day and noticed this.my only problem its on 105000 miles now,so its only done 12000 in 4 years,im off to check mot history

I presume it must have popped a headgasket; still if the job was done properly then that's no bad thing.. although if that was the last time it had a cambelt done, I think it's due again (40k/4yrs, IIRC)..

its only got 1 mot logged 1/4/2011 at 103963 miles,
strange will check service history with garages

Hm, anyone got that link to the government site that lets you get the complete MOT history & tax status? At least.. I think it had tax status, didn't it?

it may have had a private plate on it.hence the gap in the mot records...had that with mine and it had only done minimal miles in 4 years turned out it was owned by a disabled guy

If that bill is correct, it appears that they charged a fortune for changing one headgasket, and only used 1 litre of fresh coolant.  Seems like a complete drain/flush/refill would be a good idea unless it's been done since/recently.
