i have an S reg 3.0 Omega Elite estate, last friday the orange warning light the engine with lightening through it came on on the way to work and a lack of power, the car was parked up all day and the same on way home checked oil fuses etc all ok
the same saturday but a distinct lack of power same light on both to and from work. unable to check car sunday
imagine my surprise this morning 0630 when the car wouldn't start
this evening just check all again but checked the spark plugs, the cambers are full to the top of the plug with engine oil has anyone any ideas please :y :y

Camcover gaskets gone mate. Guide in maintenance. May need new plugs & leads as well.

What Rob says, its also possible you have fried a HT leads. Get covers changed & go from there.
Use geniune gaskets only :y

When I said covers I meant just the gaskets, not tooo bad a job on V6.
Something you want to DIY, and not let a monkey mechanic butcher it. Take your time on it :y

I did mine once before, having already paid a mechanic only to have them go again very quickly. Follow the guide and take your time. And don't forget there is always someone online to help if necessary :y
