Title: Gary Speed Dies.

Only 42. Found dead at home apparently.Sad and shocking.Condolences to his family.Apparently  took his own life. :(

Being a Leeds fan, he used to be one of my hero's and he lives just down the road from me. RIP Gary :(

I see that while some news outlets are being vague on the details, the DM have gone straight in there for the scoop with no details omitted..  ::)

BBC have been reporting the same thing.They said the family had given permission for the details to be reported. :y

Cant belive this  :o :o :o very sad indeed  :( :( :( Maybe now he feels at peace with himself but we will never know that for sure. So RIP Gary Speed

watching him yesterday on football focus and he seemed a happy normal guy?..having been a victim of mental health issues myself and gone through some very dark times i can only imagine what the guy must have been going through to have taken his own life, assuming that is what happened. obviously the important thing now is to consider his wife and two children at this awful time for them and offer them support and condolences...such a sad waste  :-[

although I'm a bit far and foreign to his life circumstances, I cant understand
 
why a father of 2 kids and a nice wife can suicide :(

Terrible news, just when it looked as if his young Welsh side were on the verge me becoming genuinely exciting. I can't understand why he would hang himself at home where his wife and two precious boys would find him, it just doesn't bear thinking about. I could never inflict that on my family  :(

i agree with you there and being totally honest i think it was a selfish act and i feel for his family but r.i.p comes to those who have died imo not those who have taken their own life,he must of had his reasons but to do it in such a way that his family could find him like that is horrible.

and on a side note how thick are the bbc to use "howard wilkinson on Speed"  as a headline :(
