All booked for 23rd December on 10 am from Alton - excuse was to take grandson.

Mrs. KW and I went on one of those once...

Decided it would be something different to do over Christmas.. Had only just moved close to the line.

Wasn't really propared for a "Santa Special", I must admit. ::)

They could have told us when we bought the tickets. >:(

It was so bad I had to drink a couple of glasses of Santa's sherry paraffin. ;D

I hope you're a good shot. ;) You'll be in a 30' deep cutting and we're behind a very effective screen of weeds at the moment. :-[

I will need deflection and elevation data from a suitable point on the line - can you recommend one.

The tickets are pricey - but as I was feeling flush....
