Cleaned all the breather system
Change the cruise brake switch
Results, think I have cruise need a long run to confirm, it kicks in but to maintain speed I have to press the increase button. Guess the issues I have had were the orginal brake switch, who designed that fitting!!!!!
Problem during the course of the day i used a flourecent lead lamp and also with the brake switch dissconneted I manged to flatten the battery, nice man in a yellow van came and slaved it for me however it now ticks over at around 2000-25000 any ideas please.

Great Stuff, Bob :y
Out of interest, what was the long metal tube like, running from the block, up to the firetrap? :y
Were the HT leads OK?

Lightly soile and HT ok just need to get the revs down though

High tickover - almost definitely an air leak, or a throttle cable a little too taught, causing the flutterby to open a touch too much...
You know you can bring her over for a look.. :y
