Just came across this report, supermarkets marking up products on there " Discount / Price Drop "
but infact you could buy the products cheaper 2 weeks prior!!

thats the norm been going on for years.... every big company dose it, or swap a price from some thing ells and drop price on somthing ells to make it up again or proffit from it.

Nothing new. Every retailer does it. They know the British Public is naturally stupid and gullible, sadly I have to agree.
The boxing day sales, for example, for the last 30yrs of more, its been specially ordered in the summer to be put on the selves on boxing day. Or in the case of large furniture retailers at Darley Dale and Droitwich, price bumped up before xmas (when nobody would buy anyway), to be resold at the 'bargain' normal price ;)
