Hello all. I currently have a heavy steering issue and its particularly heavy at low speed. I have checked the fuse and it seems fine. Could it be the pump, one of the belts or anything else?
I know this has been asked previously having searched around the forum im just wondering if it is an expensive job depending on what the issue is or if anyone is local maybe help out.
thanks marc

Either;
pump if consistantly heavy at low rpm
Or sevo tronic relay, under any other condition.
Suspect pump. Not expensive if via breakers on here, and not too bad to replace.
Obviously avoid dealers and thier prices.

Thank you. How much would the pump be from a breakers do you reckon? Also is the relay under the steering wheel? My car is a 2000 model if that helps.

Only the V6 has a servotronic relay

No doubt a breaker on here will contact you, not sure on the price. I suppose the pumps are the same across the range??? :-\
