Title: Radius arm
Post by: gary5661 on 10 December 2011, 20:37:37
Just changed the rear arm on my omega estate due to wheel bearing and found the drive shaft doesn't mate with the new hub bolts don't match does any one have a cheap easy solution to this because I really don't want to take the radius arm out again

Has the rear arm come off the same vehicle as yours

Or is it a new part.

does orientation matter? ie is the bolt pattern symetrical? would think it would be but ya never know.
No experience in that area, but would think they are the same accross the range....? although estate / saloon might be differant perhaps...? guessing frankly...

anyone?

the arm came off another omega estate, mines a 2.0 16v im thinking maybe it came off a 2.5 as the holes on the drive shaft dont line up with that of the hub, im just wondering if anyone got a quick fix for me cos i really dont want to take it off again.
