Omega has series of errors which seem to be linked. ie fault started with abs and ct dash lamps illuminating at variable times- shortly afterwards the speedometer ceased to work in addition to the abs and ct lamps - fault condition intermittent and no obvious condition causing it - car seems to be driving ok - faults increasing to include the steering wheel resistance in addition to other faults listed car still driving ok.
Car taken in to "expert" to resolve problems. Several sensors were changed due to error codes in the engine management system - no error codes now in engine system. Still have the listed faults. The faults listed seem linked to maybe a sensor for speed measurement and I cannot believe that this is not a known fault -HELP please. Ian

Its very much a known fault..
Your ABS ecu needs replacing / repairing.
Either buy one for your year, engine, gearbox combination from a breaker on here (create a wanted ad in the test zone)
or send it to a repair company, such as BBA Reman who can repair them.

or ecutesting who are a bit cheaper.

Agree with jb you ll know when the abs ecu is fried speedo won t work also flashes up the abs light
affects the weight of the power streering and disables the cruise control and brings up the traction control light if fitted
