Anybody any idea why my migs windows fill with condensation after ive been out in her. There are no signs of dampness or anything in the car and this always happens whether the car has been run for 5 minutes or we have been out for a run in her.
Got me baffled. Tried every setting.
Currently running her on Auto, 23 degrees and full fan.
Only happening since whether has turned colder.

Check the scuttle drain for any blockages, also when was the last time the pollen filter was changed?
Got any crap in the rear boot compartment? One on the right hand side?

Recirculation damper can cause this if it gets confused. Try pressing the recirc button (to switch recirc on) wait for a few moments to let it settle and then press it again switch it off.
Alternatively try resetting the whole climate control system.

Thanks for responses so far.
Nothing in the boot.
Excuse my ignorance but:
1, Where abouts is the pollen filter located
2,How do you reset the climate control system?
3, Are the scuttle drains located either side of the front and rear screens?

1. Passenger side of the car, the bit of plastic between the windscreen and bonnet. Lift the rubber up, there is a plastic flap, look inside and check for blockage. Worth running a hose through, it should run clear.
2. Press & hold auto and off for 5 seconds
3. The "scuttle" is at the front its that big black plastic thing in between the windscreen and bonnect, in the boot, drivers side there is a compartment (furthest away) at the bottom there is a vent, make sure thats clear. Not got books/mags/cloths ect blocking it

If clearing out the scuttle drain with a hose make sure you do not squirt water into the fan area ,I did this and killed my speed controller. Now I clean out with a "stick" of some sort and then only pour water in with a bottle or jug

On my car the recirculation flap had broken away from its actuator and was stuck shut. The car misted up badly. The flap is now permanently secured open, no more misting problems.

PS It would help if you put your car details in your profile.
