Millwall knows the apple! As for huge tellies hanging off the wall so that the viewers are craning their necks upwards well that's just cheap & tastless like stretch Limos, wallpaper & borders etc. A telly should never be the focul point of any room, it's just tacky.

Liked the TV one...... ;D ;D ;D Nearly bought a big tv today, was in Comet getting carried away....bank balance not so brilliant now..... ::) ::) ::)

Just call me tacky, then.. I'd rather stare at a big TV with something interesting on it than a fireplace or a picture that never changes.

Fair go matey. I see them in the shops & the picture looks good but not sure about them hanging off a wall like an ornament. I've still got a big old grey Panasonic telly, one of the first to have intergrated freeview so that's going back a bit. When it finally dies i'll do what my parents did.
Buy a nice new flatscreen telly that will fit into an antique pine cabinet so the doors shut when it's not being watched.
Best of both worlds! :y

at least if its on the wall the dog cant piss on it :y
you can always get one of those screen saver things make it look like a fish tank etc.........we fitted a tv in a large picture frame above a fire place when the tv is off it turns into a mirror...cool stuff lots of money i think :y

To be fair, half the time mine is a 'picture' anyway - the HTPC sits there showing the posters for all the movies & TV shows as a kind of slide show.
But then .. it's not like there's anyone else here to talk to/look at/etc anyway. Just me and the TV.
