Title: Cassette player/recorder
Post by: Bob G on 17 December 2011, 23:48:58
I am looking for one of the above old style recorders to use in my signals instruction, it must obviously work but most important it has to have the DiN type socket for the external mic, this is used to hook it up to the radio so I can record direct when the students are talking.
If you have one and would be prepared to part with it we would be most grateful.

Cheers

Bob

Is that the one with about 6 buttons on it like piano keyed and the round socket with pins, if so my sister has a silver Phillips one in my mums loft.

Richie thats generally how they looked and the round socket will be the DiN plug, think she would be willing to part with it?

Why not use a USB pen drive or an mp3 player?  That's what I have seen in these types of class.

Mainly as I have the 7 pin lead already made up, and finding a R Signals tech to make another is like trying to solve the euro problem ;D ;D
