Just told him you guys were asking how he is and he says GOOD Thanks.

Talkin about gym i am going to be late for my training session. i play vollyball for the Royal Navy.

Hi Marie,

Sorry I didnt have the faintest idea that hubby had been under the butchers kosh.  I hope it wasnt too serious but being a medic and seeing all those staples even makes me cringe.

Hope he gets back on the road soon.

Why was the operation needed?

cos he has/had (balls cant remember the name of it) the muscle sack on the outside of his muscles wouldnt expand when he was walkin runnin, etc so they have cut massive chunks out the sack to make it heal bigger and flex more realeaving the pain and stress on the legs.

wont heal properly for 18 mths.  :(

Ouch! I had something similar when I used to train 3-4 hours a day (oh memories...)  it caused my calfs to fuse so the team physio had to use his elbows in the muscules every week to separate them.  Needless to say I had a piece of wood with deep-set teeth impressions on them  ;)
